A 14-year old girl runs away from home after an argument with her father. After living on the streets for a few days, she befriends a stranger who promises her luxuries and freedom from her father's watchful eye. Under false pretenses, she is locked in a mansion with other unfortunate girls and forced into human trafficking. Filled with memories from her father's story of 1000 cranes, it gives her strength to learn how to survive. After witnessing horrific images and experiences, she must plan her escape before it leads to the same fate.
